Background
During
2000-2003, Suzanne Roberts established
and operated the business “Uniquely Jarrah” in At the present
time, (now 2011), Suzanne now with partner Rod Johnston, has decided to offer
this rare collection to specialist, fine furniture, quality cabinet makers
and timber merchants. However, we regret as this timber cannot be replaced it
is expensive, but nontheless all reasonable offers
will be considered. All stock
is reclaimed timber, purchased by auction in the late 1990’s from the
decimated Jarrah forests of This
website includes an inventory (yet to be completed as at 24/05/11) and
indicative prices. Please ring or email for details. The large
stock holding comprises of tree lots of rough sawn slabs, 60-120cm wide, by
2000 – 5000 m, in length and 40-60mm thick, suitable for quality single piece
table tops. In addition, a large selection of Jarrah
bridge timbers and beams suitable for table legs and general use. A smaller
amount of she-oak in various sizes also exists. |
